My wife called me outside at sunset to take this picture from our front yard of the sun through the smoke. I promised myself NOT to post any more reminders of the huge fire in Arizona that sends smoke to us daily. But, this was pretty amazing and the picture is pretty close to actual colors. These smoky views brings back a flood of buried memories of the 2000 Cerro Grande Fire in Los Alamos that also sent smoke into several states.
That is really eerie and pretty. It would be hard not to post pictures on something that is ongoing like that.
